*The US chapter of Women’s Declaration International is pleased to endorse this initiative, which is a clear step in the right direction toward eliminating the harms of so-called ‘gender-affirming care’ to minors. WDI USA advances the Declaration on Women’s Sex-Based Rights, Article 9 of which calls for the prohibition of all forms of such ‘treatment,’ including in cases where a minor has already started it, and adheres strictly to accurate sex-based language. This initiative will advance the cause of protecting children from harmful hormones and surgery, and we encourage California voters to vote yes.
